Connection Dental plans we accept
We are an in-network provider in the Connection Dental Network, a national PPO network owned by GEHA. Besides GEHA, many insurance companies and employer plans use Connection Dental as their network, including Connection Dental Plus plans.
How to tell if your plan uses Connection Dental
Look on the front or back of your dental ID card for the Connection Dental logo or name. Many plans run by benefit administrators use it, even if your insurance company has a different name.
Not every employer group uses Connection Dental, so we always confirm your plan before your visit. Call us with your card and we will check for you.

What your Connection Dental plan may help pay for here
Coverage depends on your plan, but Connection Dental members use their benefits at our office for:
- Exams, cleanings and X-rays
- Tooth-colored fillings and crowns
- Root canals and extractions
- Gum disease treatment
- Same-day emergency visits, Monday to Thursday
What dental plans usually cover
Every plan is different, but most PPO dental plans follow a similar pattern:
- Preventive care, like exams, cleanings and X-rays, is often covered at or near 100%.
- Basic care, like fillings and simple extractions, is usually partly covered.
- Major care, like crowns, root canals and dentures, is usually covered at a lower percentage.
- Cosmetic care, like whitening and veneers, is usually not covered.
Most plans also have a yearly maximum, and some have waiting periods for major work. We will look up the details of your plan for you.
Insurance disclaimer: Serenity Oaks Dental verifies all insurance before treatment. The plans and networks listed on this website are ones we currently participate with; however, not every plan offered by these companies, or every employer group that uses these networks, may include our office. Eligibility, network participation and benefits are confirmed directly with your insurance carrier before your visit. A verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment, and final coverage is determined by your insurance company when the claim is processed. Patients are responsible for any amount not paid by their plan. Plan participation may change without notice.
