Tooth-colored fillings
When a cavity is caught early, a filling is usually all you need. We use tooth-colored material that blends in with your natural teeth, so nobody will know it's there.
Most fillings take one visit, and we make sure the area is completely numb before we start.
Dental crowns
A crown is a custom cap that covers a tooth that's cracked, badly decayed, worn down, or weakened after a root canal. It protects the tooth and restores its shape and strength.
Getting a crown usually takes two visits: one to prepare the tooth and place a temporary crown, and one to fit your permanent crown.
Signs you may need a filling or crown
- Sensitivity to hot, cold or sweets
- Pain when you bite down
- A chipped, cracked or broken tooth
- A large old filling that's wearing out
Many insurance plans help cover fillings and crowns. We'll check your benefits and give you the cost before any treatment. Wondering about price? Read how much a dental crown costs.
