Is it worth it? An example
Two cleanings, two exams and X-rays usually cost several hundred dollars a year without insurance. With Serenity Care, you pay $365 for the year (just $1 a day), and your emergency exams are just $1 each ($39 if you need an emergency X-ray). Serenity Care questions
Is Serenity Care dental insurance?
No. Serenity Care and Serenity Gum Care are memberships offered directly by Serenity Oaks Dental. They are not insurance, they do not pay for care anywhere else, and they can only be used at our office.
Which plan is right for me?
Serenity Care is for patients with healthy gums who need regular cleanings. Serenity Gum Care is for patients with gum disease who need periodontal maintenance (gum-care cleanings) instead of regular cleanings. Dr. Bhatti will check your gums and tell you which plan fits.
Who can join?
Patients without dental insurance. The plans aren't available to patients with dental insurance (including Medicare Advantage plans with dental benefits), Medicaid or CHIP, and they can't be combined with other offers.
When can I start using it?
Right away. There are no waiting periods. Your membership starts on the day you join.
What if I need a deep cleaning?
Scaling and root planing (a deep cleaning) is not included in either plan, but members get 15% off. After a deep cleaning, Serenity Gum Care covers your 2 periodontal maintenance visits for the year.
Does the 15% discount apply to specialists?
No. The 15% discount applies only to treatment provided and billed by Serenity Oaks Dental. If you need a specialist, such as an oral surgeon, root canal specialist or gum specialist, that specialist bills you directly, even if you see them in our office, and their care is not included in or discounted by your membership.
What counts as an emergency exam?
An exam with Dr. Bhatti for a problem like a toothache, swelling, or a broken tooth or filling. Members get 3 emergency exams a year for just $1 each; after that, our regular exam fee applies. If an X-ray is needed to diagnose the problem, it is $39. Treatment is not included, but members get 15% off.
Can my whole family join?
Yes. Each family member gets their own membership: $365 a year for Serenity Care or $399 a year for Serenity Gum Care.
