If you are new to the area or just started a new job with Cigna dental, our new patient visit is a simple way to begin: a full exam and X-rays, then a clear plan with your costs before any treatment.

What dental plans usually cover
Every plan is different, but most PPO dental plans follow a similar pattern:
- Preventive care, like exams, cleanings and X-rays, is often covered at or near 100%.
- Basic care, like fillings and simple extractions, is usually partly covered.
- Major care, like crowns, root canals and dentures, is usually covered at a lower percentage.
- Cosmetic care, like whitening and veneers, is usually not covered.
Most plans also have a yearly maximum, and some have waiting periods for major work. We will look up the details of your plan for you.

Do you take Cigna dental insurance?
Yes, Cigna dental PPO plans. We are not in-network with Cigna DHMO plans.
Will Cigna cover my cleaning?
Most Cigna PPO plans cover routine cleanings and exams. We will check your plan's details for you.
What if I need a crown or root canal?
We will send Cigna a pre-treatment estimate when helpful, so you know your share before we begin.
